Flow, Mushin, and Satori¶
The manuals treat Flow, Mushin, and Satori as different names for the same high-performance state: action without noisy self-interruption. The player is still aware, but the action runs with very little conscious clutter.
Core idea¶
- Too much self-talk breaks timing.
- Clarity comes from less interference, not more effort.
- The best decisions feel automatic because they are already trained.
Why it matters¶
This state protects technique under pressure. It also links psychology to neuro-motor performance, which is why the manuals connect it to myelination and automated logic.
